HOW DO I GET ORGANIZED?
I tell people all the time don't clip your coupons. I think it is a waste of time, instead date them. Let this site do the work for you... I'll tell you where you can find the coupon and what section it is in. Personally, I date the section, list what coupons are in that section, the amount of the coupon, and when the coupon expires.
Item: amount of coupon, expiration date
Example: Kraft BBQ sauce - $1.00 - 8/16/09

BOGO = Buy one get one **please ask you grocery store how they ring up BOGO items.
IP = Internet Printable
MQ or manu. q = Manufactured Coupon
SS = SmartSource
RP = RedPlum
FLIP = Food Lion Internet Printable
SCR = Single Check Rebate
ECB's = Extra Care Bucks (CVS Money)
WYB = When You Buy
RULE OF THUMB: You can use one manufactured coupon per item and if your grocery store takes competitor coupons, (such as Food Lion, Bi-Lo, Ingles, etc...) then you can use one manufactured and one competitor coupon per item.
WHICH COUPONS DO GROCERY STORES TAKE?
Publix - will double manufactured coupons up to $.50 (so if you have a $.50 coupon it will double to $1.00 off the item) they take competitor coupons and they have in-store coupons.
However, if there is an item that has a in-store coupon, manufacture coupon and a competitor coupon, they will only take (2) coupons per item.
BiLo -will double manufactured coupons up to $.65. They have in-store coupons, but do not accept competitor coupons.
Ingles - will double manufactured coupons up to $.50. They do not have in-store coupons and do not take competitor coupons. On occasion they will Triple coupons.
Food Lion - does not double coupons (they take them at face value). They do not take competitor coupons, but they do have in-store coupons.
Bloom - does not double coupons (they take them at face value). They do not take competitor coupons, but they do have in-store coupons. (occasionally Bloom will triple coupons up to $.99 however they will not triple their store coupons.)
Quality Foods - takes manufactured coupons at face value. Do not have in-store coupons and they do not accept competitor coupons.
Aldi - takes manufactured coupons. They do not double coupons, accept competitors, nor do they have in-store coupons.

Seems like Publix and Bi-lo are the way to go. I usually go to Ingles cause it's close.. looks like it may be worth it to drive the extra 5 miles.
I love Publix the best!
What about Wal-Mart? Which coupons do they take?
Somone told me recently that Bloom is doing triple coupons thru the end of the year!!! Plus, they have the store coupon printer just inside the front door! I don't always shop there, but with triple coupons, you can't beat it on those items!
Can someone explain to me how I get competitor coupons? When you go under store name and print their coupons it is showing as a mfg. coupon. I am so confused!
