First let me start by telling you how excited I am to help spread the word on how to save money. I was super excited when Serena invited me to post on her blog. This is the first week I posted the deals on my own personal blog. We are work in progress to help bring you deals that are free or cheap. Big Y is a smaller Local grocery store in Ma, and Ct. I emailed them earlier today to find out their Corporate coupon policy. Each store tends to be a bit different. I never have had a problem at all. This is the policy I received.- Purchase must meet the terms of the coupon
- Coupons will not be accepted for items that are "free" ie, B1G1F
- Coupon Value can't exceed the amount of the product. If it does the product is free
- You are limited to 5 same type coupons
- Internet coupons follow the same rule, with the exception that they don't coupons for Free products, nor do they allow high value Internet coupons.
The rules list above are what you can stand your ground on in the store. I have heard from some other couponers that their Big Y stores don't take Internets coupons. If I shopped at that store I would bring a printed copy of my email and speak with the store Manager. Again I haven't had any issues at all at the several stores I shop at. I have also been able to use 2 coupons on B1G1F sales. So that is up to the cashier at the store you shop at.
